Duevventi is a group of young people (25 years on average), who joined forces to provide an engine for their ideas.
Savona and Liguria, the oldest Italian city and region respectively, could not help but build a conservation-oriented citizen solidarity; that’s why Duevventi came to be and decided to support cultural and social activities, first and foremost youth-oriented.
During these years, huge energies have been profused in promoting writing and urban culture, beginning with obtaining lawful use of urban spaces and agreements with local policymakersin order to give everyone, artists or not, to express their personalità.
With the “Bombolassa” event, a yearly graffiti-dedicated meeting, but open to other forms of art as well, such as music and break-dance, succeeding in bringing a really contaminated show in the center of a venerable city, offering something for everyone.
By means of their many urban renewal and restoring activities, the most recent of which was the “Windows Down”, began a pacific, graffiti-based “invasion” of the city, that lasted for the whole of 2010. Furthermore, Duevventi chose to use turnover in its membership, opening more and more to youngsters and not setting its membership in stone. |
